Enrollment

First Steps has an open-door policy. Parents of our students are welcome to stop by any time during school hours. Prospective parents may choose to tour the school in order to be included on the schools wait list. A tour may be scheduled with the Director by calling the office. We work very hard with parents to meet their scheduling needs, however, admission is based on availability, with priority given to current students.

Children enrolling in First Steps must be at least 2 years 9 months of age on the date of enrollment.
First Steps also facilitates the Onteora Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program. We offer a morning and afternoon class for children who are age four prior to December 1st and who live in the Onteora School District.
