Curriculum

At First Steps, it is our desire to create an environment where children are allowed to discover independently, at their own pace and in their own unique way, enabling them to become enthusiastic, inquisitive learners. First Steps curriculum is designed to encourage development in the following areas through different centers throughout our classrooms:
Social/Emotional Skills, Language Skills, Cognitive Skills, Physical Development, Listening Skills, Gross Motor Skills, Fine Motor Skills, and Self help Skills

Daily Scheduling Includes

Art, Math, Music, Dramatic Play, Playground/Outdoor Activities, Science and Nature, Free Play/Choices, Sharing/ Show and Tell, Games, Story time, Listening Activities

Physical Education class Wednesday mornings.

Uncle Rock Thursday afternoons.
